From the ground floor, a spiral staircase made with solid hardwood leads to the first floor, where you will find a double bedroom boasting homely décor, wooden floors, and a 6-feet bed made using the finest Welsh oak timber. The bedroom has an attached en-suite bathroom equipped with a corner shower and a free-standing bath tub. The bedroom opens onto a Juliet balcony from where you can enjoy panoramic views over the iconic rolling hills of Wales.

Cae Caled is located in a working farm that dates from the 15th century. The property is surrounded by 30 acres or farmlands and has its own furnished garden (including a BBQ area and an unfenced pond) and a patio. Fishing is available at River Clwyd and can be arranged with the property owners during the open season (March-September). The swimming pool is available to guests during the summer months.

Despite its tranquil rural location, this Welsh cottage is easily accessible via the North Wales Expressway. The property is off a country lane in Bodfari, a peaceful village that is a designated stop on the renowned Offa’s Dyke National Trail, which runs for 177 miles and links Prestatyn (North Wales) with Chepstow. Shops and restaurants are 4 miles away in Denbigh, a thriving market town whose origins can be traced back to the 15th century. The area is perfect for a golfing holiday thanks to its proximity to several courses in Denbigh, Rhuddlan, and Prestatyn, and it naturally caters to hillwalkers and to anyone interested in discovering the best of rural Wales. Nearby attractions include Snowdonia National Park (only 30 miles away), the Clwydian Range Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and the imposing medieval castles at Rhuddlan, Bodelwyddan, and Dinas Bran. The nearest beach is approximately 13 miles away in Rhyl, and further west is Colwyn Bay, which is only a 30-minute drive away.
